Macarons is delighted to be partnering with The Delight Project to host London’s first pickle-themed Afternoon Tea, featuring a variety of sweet and savoury treats inspired by everyone's favourite tangy snack – the dill pickle.
The pop-up will take place at our elegant event space in central London, which has been transformed into a pickle-inspired tea room for this adventurous foray into culinary experiences. With a pickle themed drink served on arrival, you can be sure that we’ll get the afternoon started as we mean to continue – Dill Pickle and Rhubarb Gin Fizz anyone?
Alongside other fabulous favourites such as a pickle-infused Bloody Mary, the menu will feature a full spectrum of pickle-themed traditional afternoon tea bites for you and your guest to indulge in. From Dill Pickle and Goats Cheese Finger Sandwiches, to Pickled Devilled Eggs and Bloody Mary Parmesan Palmiers, we’ll be serving up a culinary storm with the help of our expert chefs at The Delight Project. Our own team here at Oh La La! Macarons will be lending a hand in the sweet department, with a Dill and Lemon flavoured macaron taking centre stage. But don’t worry – we’ll also be serving goods such as a Dark Chocolate Dipped Dill Pickle, and Pickle Jelly Trifle, so there will be no shortness of treats for those with a sweet tooth!
To accompany the food, guests will be entertained by a Vaudeville inspired Pickle Sisters quartet, who will be serenading the guests throughout intervals of the Afternoon Tea – truly an event not to be missed! As a final touch of pickle realness, we’ll be sending our customers home with a jar of pickles to remember the afternoon by!
